I think 2 and 4 are super-duper important.  (And 5, duh.)

I’ll keep this in mind for my first one. If I ever can get my head inside made-up characters, which I have so much trouble with. But nobody needs another autobiographical comic about a twentysomething hipster dropout, so I need to work on getting creative.

I wanna shake people over number 4! Your first work will never be perfect, don’t wait until you’re better to do it!

First I hope five isn’t true, I hate colored pencils.  Second, I do still feel like my first anything like that is a long time off, my art still needs a lot of general work before I put it into story mode.  And I say that from experience.  It’s not like I haven’t tried getting started on something before.  I can’t even draw the characters I come up with.  It’s insanely frustrating.
